What is it good for?

The misconception about therapies and any type of mental health services is that they are treatments when you get sick. That's not true where I come from. Japanese people have been proactively using meditative arts therapy for centuries to sustain and further strengthen our mental health on a daily basis. Samurai have been practicing mindfulness not only to heal from battles but also to prepare to win the next one. It's a way to condition yourself to perform the best you can in any given situation. A wide variety of meditative arts therapies are used daily by athletes, business leaders, trend-setters, scientists, artists, innovators and social change makers. It helps us find the inner-compass and faith in ourselves to accomplish extraordinary things.
